They\u00a0 used to live under tents in the far eastern High Atlas of Morocco. This rug\u00a0 is woven using purple, green, violet and black wools, also showing black hair lines: an influence from Jbel Amour people living across the border with neighbouring Algeria. A large tent main carpet, its pile uses a much spun wool , also characteristical from this area works.
