Large and beautiful Aït Bou Guemmez carpet, using handwoven wools for pile and warps over cotton wefts. The idea of the square grid reminds of the simple moucharabieh found on on the windows of these high adobe houses in the central High Atlas. Ca 1980. Dimensions: ca 310 x 180 cm / 124″ x 72″
