This is a rather small Aït Wauzguit carpet, where this origine often used to produce long narrow pieces to fit their reception rooms. It is woven using nice mountain wool (Aït Wauzguit hav ea reputation for it), and designed according to a fairly traditionnal scheme: a losangical grid made of small squares, 2 borders with an inner broken line, and end bands with small triangles. Having braids only at one end is a standard for tribal pieces, the braid signaling the ending of theweaving. Period: ca 1980 – Dimensions: ca 200 x 100 cm / 80″ x 40″ – Ref : PERLP194
