This black and white carpet is new, woven in a workshop in the Tazenakht region, south of the Jbel Sirwa in southern Morocco. It displays a design wovne in the “cordelage” technics, traditionnal in the Sirwa. This design is laid down on a plain white field made of knot of quality local wools.
