This carpet is woven using handspun wools knotted over industrial wool wefts and rag warps. This Bujad carpet displays an abrashed field hold within a white frame of undyed white wools. The abrash is the result of a domestic dyeing process leading to uneven results in color density; it testifies to a time when all dyes were made by the weavers themselves – Period: ca 2000 – Dimensions: env 230 x 120 cm / ca 92″ x 48″
